Nautilus Launches "BUZZ! POPCORN" a Caffeinated Microwave Popcorn

LA JOLLA, CA--(Marketwired - May 20, 2021) - Richard H. Davis, President and CEO of Beverage Marketing USA and Nautilus Mineral Waters of America, states that his company intends to produce and market a new caffeine-infused microwave popcorn called; BUZZ!™ POPCORN. According to Davis, who invented the caffeinated popcorn way back in 2009, there are few snacks quite as satisfying as popcorn. Popcorn's reputation as a snack food that's actually good for health has popped up as a new delivery system for caffeine. BUZZ! POPCORN is an effective alternative to all the sugar laden caffeinated soft drinks.

"We are very excited about the addition of BUZZ! POPCORN to our snack portfolio," said Davis. "If you need caffeine, have a cup of Joe or better yet 'nuke' a bag of our caffeinated kernels," buzzed Davis. "I have been working tirelessly on getting this futuristic popcorn out to all the Movie Junkies, who fall asleep in the middle of binge watching." said Davis.

The first microwave popcorn was invented in 1946, by accident by Dr. Percy Spencer at Raytheon Corporation while experimenting with a magnetron. The good doctor actually holds the patent for nukeable microwave popcorn. Some movie nights call for the easy convenience of microwave popcorn, now there's popcorn to keep you from dozing off.

"Caffeinated Popcorn Keeps Movie Buffs Buzzed"

- A new brand of popcorn promises to keep you from dozing off in the middle of a movie. Buzz Popcorn is a microwave popcorn laced with caffeine meant to give folks a jolt similar to the effects of a soda. Richard H. Davis created the snack after seeing too many people fall asleep in the middle of watching movies and figures it's time something other than soft drinks gives people a buzz. The caffeine is combined with salt crystals so the popcorn tastes normal, but Davis assures there's not enough in there to get addicted. Still, parents should give the popcorn to their kids in moderation, so they're not bouncing off the walls right before bedtime. The product will be made in the old Orville Redenbacher plant, and Davis thinks the popcorn legend's ghost will be pleased. Davis believes this is the key to getting the popcorn industry popping again, and other manufacturers will follow suit."
